The Aqua Vita Story
I started Aqua Vita Breathwork to help people return to flow — physically, emotionally, energetically, and consciously.
My work integrates breathwork, somatic energy practices, meditation, and nervous system education, informed by years of training in somatic energy work, intuitive mentorship, and experiential healing modalities.
At its core, this work is about empowerment: helping people build the awareness, capacity, and trust to heal themselves.
I named it Aqua Vita because it means "water of life" — In medieval alchemy, aqua vitae means a purified, concentrated essence — the idea of distilling something down to its most potent, life-giving form.
And thats essentially what were doing here, helping you to remember who you are, what you capabilities are, and tune into your bodies natural healing abilities.
The water thing also is super close to my heart, as I first got into breathwork from Freediving. The first time I really experienced what natural therapeutics feels like. Being underwater demanded presence. Breath became precious. Sensation became information. I learned how to relax under pressure, listen to subtle cues, and trust my body in an entirely new way.
Diving reconnected me to the intelligence of my body — and to the earth itself. It was the first time I felt what it meant to be fully regulated, embodied, and attuned from the inside out.
Alongside this embodied education, my life has been shaped by profound loss and illness. I lost my father to brain cancer. My biological father, and his mother died by suicide. I’ve witnessed how unprocessed pain, nervous system overwhelm, and disconnection from the body can shape a life — and how deeply people suffer when they feel trapped inside their own experience.
My life up until this point has shaped everything that I do. I've been shown me that healing isn’t about fixing what’s wrong — it’s about restoring movement where life has become stuck.
Whether working one-on-one, with groups, or through immersive experiences, my role is not to heal anyone — it is to create the conditions where you can do the dang healing thing yourself!
